Where the heart is!!!
My 8-9in Mbu with Discus, Hystrix and a few other oddballs until he grows a little more and is ready for his upgrade:naughty:...Though I might just upgrade everyone because I love the combo. Currently in a 60x18x24.

hmm i always thought they would eat rays.

I saw the combo several times on this forum and others and after first testing this guy out for a while angel fish, plecos, gymnogeos, and neon tetras, and he wouldn't touch anything but his food (snails, marketshrimp, crayfish), I figure lets try it. My wife wouldn't acquiesce so I had to do it behind her back:WHOA:. But since it works, she still loves me and adores the setup:naughty::naughty::naughty:

I've seen mbus with rays before but it's the discus that makes that look a bit odd... Never mind the water changes you must be doing for those discus, with the amount of bioload the puffer puts out!

With my regiment and filtration, everyone is doing fine. Plus the MBU will be going to a larger tank very soon. Its easier than most think. I think often times we complicate things unnecessarily. Temps are similar for MBU and discus with the high end of MBU temps being 82 degrees. I hover around 83-84 in that tank. I'm a firm believer in the fish adjusting to your ph so I never worry about that. 50% water changes every 5 days or so and everyone's happy;).

I love how you've caught his tail stretched out like that...have tried to get pics of my puffer doing that but timing has not been right.

I had to leave the camera next to the tank for the perfect photo ops;)
