So I'm sitting here bored and figured that it might be fun for me to make a project out of converting something to be used as a betta tank. The problem is I'm having trouble coming up with decent ideas for what I could use, so I figured I'd turn to the forums for suggestions. Here's my criteria:

- Must be able to contain AT LEAST 2.5 gallons of water - preferably closer to 5 gallons, but no larger

- Must have a large surface area at the top opening for ease of cleaning/water oxygenation (meaning no containers that have "bottle-necks", like bottles...)

- Prefer something with decent visibility from various angles

- And of course, something unique or "different" that wouldn't first be thought of as an aquarium

Any and all suggestions are welcome, and it would be much appreciated if you could post a picture or link of your suggestion so that it's easier for me to understand what you're talking about. Thanks in advance!

get a gumball machine, seal the bottom, and use it. dont know if that would work i just randomly thought of that.

the toilet bowl and the gumball machine have been used.

however the coolest one i have seen was and acrylic u shaped bowl that mounted to the wall.

Mount one under your kitchen table.
Router out the top of the table, install glass. Mount tank
great center piece when eating dinner.
