Unique Peruvian mono (half black)

These Peruvian mono juveniles are a few months old now and from one of my spawning pairs that I have raised. Like the title says… Check this lil guy out.. He's been this way as far back as they started getting color but I figured it would fade as he grew… Nope… It’s only gotten darker and more pronounced as he gets bigger… These juveniles are all around 2" plus now. Must be the mail mans kid…lol


Anyway, I thought I’d share this, I haven’t seen another peacock bass like this, have any of you?

Well for reference 9" Wc Peru monos from Jeff rapps - Start at $110 Plus shipping. Depending on the size I sale my F1 PU Monos starting at 20 and go up with price depending on size and quality. I've had no issues finding buyers. I sell most my fry very small and in large numbers. These are a handful of about a dozen I have kept outta that last batch but I have PU monos from the first few spawns that I have raised and are now pushing 6" to 10".
 
So would this be like being black from the waist down? :ROFL: sorry can't help myself..
