I know a lot of people on here have DIY fish rooms run on sponge filters and 2x4 shelves. While they are ingenious in their achievement for such low cost, it would be interesting to see the equivalent on the research side of things.
Is anyone here involved in a research program with a fish room? I would imagine the tolerances on these systems are much tighter than home brew setups for the hobbyist and many of them site extensive automatic system monitoring.
Systems such as these
Monash University
Sinnhuber Aquatic Research
National University of Singapore
I would love to see a "fish room tour" of such a facility.
