anybody have any? my one and only current loach is 3" i bought him a 1". about 20 days ago my true gt died who he was being house with, i never see him so i completly forgot he was in the tub. after the gt died i turned off the filter, heater, and lights. and left the tub sitting.i never put any food in it being that i thought nothing was in it. there was a oil like film at the top of the water. i put my hand into the tub to a get a peice of driftwood, and the water was COLD, like really cold, i'm estiment is 50ish farenheight. and low and behold a good sized clown loach starts flitting around the tank. i'm just wondering how could this fish survive for 20 days without food and still be chubby, have the filter and heater turned off and be in water that cold. anybody have that sort of thing happen to them with clowns? ps this sort of stuff has happened before with this clown. when i put them originally in with an oscar, i though that he had eaten all of them, but it turn out in was over 2 months later and this one was still alive, without food again! and another time i put him in a larger tank with some monsters and never saw him, there was no driftwood in the tank so i though he must be dead or sucked up by the filter, and when doing filter matenince i saw him wedged under some of the large river rock gravle laying sideways, crazy fishy.

I dont know if i would be complaining about that, sounds like good luck to me, and a loach that doesnt die! i think im dreaming./...

i'm not complaining just saying i've never experienced this with a fish before, i was wondering exactly how hardy are these fish, i've only owned 3 in my fish keeping days

wow, get that fish some friends and keep him.
definetly keeping him, i really would like to get into these clown loaches, they have some sort goofy charm to them that's just awesome. gonna take awhile to catch wurm and Jd though....

i once had a jewel that got trapped under some rocks for a month or so. We thought it had died and were going to clean it and plan a new tank, since the jewel was the only thing left. But when we lifted the rock there she was palest thing ive ever seen, but still alive.

I know its not a loach but similar experience

I don't know about unkillable, but I haven't lost a CL in at least 6 months.
