Just dont know what its called, some kids dropped this cat off at the pet store my gf works at so i picked it up but no one new the name of it, any think they know??

its a four line catfish... or pimelodus blochii i use to have three of em.

Piebald tsn at the top, what appears to be a rtc on the right, and a pim of some sort up front.

pretty big IME. when i sold them they were almost hitting the 7in mark
very cool catfish to have especially if they are kept in groups.

Put it this way. The other two catfish in the tank with him will eat him for breakfast in the not to distant future. IOW, they don't get that big, around 7-9".

My blochii is 7 yrs old and about 9"... best medium sized catfish IMO. Really has always done well with large cichlids and such.
