It could clean out the tank when it gets bigger, and can get a few feet long.I will be damned... It's only 1 week and it's like 2.5 inches long from less than an inch when I got them to feed my Cichlids. Hope they ain't ferocious when they get bigger
That's bad. Got to find a way to get rid of it.It could clean out the tank when it gets bigger, and can get a few feet long.
Unfortunately illegal in the US (like all snakeheads).
About 2 doz assorted African cichlids such mbuna, blue hap, etc. What kind of cichlids? Looks like rift lake guys which aren’t much of fish predators.
Hard to say how to get rid of it - just don’t release it as they are very invasive.
You're exactly correct aka Redline Snakehead. If I’m not mistaken, that looks like a juvie giant snakehead!
Now just gotta find a person willing to take this snakehead off me since none of my fishes are having it for food. ?You're exactly correct aka Redline Snakehead.
Pretty soon the Redline Snakehead will view its tankmates as food as Deadeye has stated.About 2 doz assorted African cichlids such mbuna, blue hap, etc.
Other tank mates are Pangasius, and tinfoil barbs and two Kois
Yeah. Not gonna release it.
