My female Tex/Con hybrid lips swelled up and she has developed lumps on her face that have opened to look cotton like. I initially treated her for both a fungus and a parasite. Then I treated her strictly for a fungus. Her lips while still swollen have gone down, but she has develped cotton like holes in her head. These are the best pictures I could get as our camera is not the best close up. Any ideas on what this is and how I might best treat her?

I think I made it clear that this was the best I could do. Any ideas based on what I have and the description.

what are you treating with exactly?

Do the cottonlike sores seem red and pitted if you swab away the white growth? I can think of two things it can be, first is columnaris and the second is saprolegena fungus. What are you treating with?
There are several meds that work, Binox is pretty effective for both.
Nitrofuracin works for saprolegena as does formalin/malachite green based meds.
You might also cath the fish and using q-tips, swab the wounds with either iodine or hydrogen peroxide.

I treated her with jungle parasite and fungus tablets. The sores don't seem red, but just clear holes.
