Just noticed a couple spots on my glass with these things. Rather than try to describe them I just did a quick sketch. They're very small like 1/16th of an inch at most. Attached in groups in 2 or 3 spots on the glass and on some of the larger river rocks.

Sole inhabitant is a bluegill so he might have brought this in. Hes been in the tank for about a month. Any ideas?

Your sketch seems to be a hydra, most people get them in their tanks when they feed too much brine shrimp. They are fairly harmless. A few water changes will get rid of them.

No brine shrimp but I have been feeding krill a lot lately.
