I'm looking for some expert's opinions on whether or not this Texas Cichlid I have with my FH is a male or female based on the fish's interactions.
Clips at 1:08, 1:30 and 4:00 seem to show bonding attempts between the two. Also, from afar, they are always looking at each other face to face, not flaring at each other like two males would either (i can't get close to get that vid, the Fader thinks i'm going to feed him when i come close). What do you all think? I'll keep these two together for a couple weeks to see if the RT drops or they bond together in hsi side of the tank. Hoping the bond and fertile.
