Fontana Pet Shop is even more ridiculous I would never go back there also because they stiffed me. (also, anyone i have talked to that does business with them)
A long time ago they had a beaten Female Jag about 9-10 inches in with a 10-12 inch jd that you could tell was old, and vicious.Jag was tattered and looked bad, but I wanted a good sized female and didnt have great options like MFK at the time. Didnt know the worth of the Jag and the owner told me that I could trade in my beloved 5" GT and 6" Barred Midas and pay him $20 and could have the fish. I was suckered into it. Got the fish. It died in 1 day went down there and showed him how bad the fish had gotten and told him it must have been sick (like i had thought and he thought it looked healthy). I told him i was disappointed he didnt care. I asked how much i could buy my old fish back for and he said i couldnt(out of spite?) then i said thats ridiculous they are right there?!?!?! he said okay $70 each... I taught him some new colorful english worlds and was on my way for good. REALLY WAS MY MISTAKE IN THE 1st PLACE... was a NOVICE!? I think everyone was at some point... for the deal he gave me on those fish though... and not wanting to sell them to me out of spite i will never do business with them again though.
