untimely death of a flowerborne

My flowerborn had grown nice and fat and active for past 10 months Aur aaj subah dead kar ***a ?

it got cottony fonghous infestation & tattered distressed dorsal & caudal fins - was breathing laboriously & had swollen belly as if a noxious gas was being generated within;
overnite treatment with API antibacterial + antifungal + API aquarium salt didn't help either & this morning it seemed departed to its heavenly abode.

now perhaps best to perform an autopsy of it - clean incision to the swollen breast & nuchal hump to ascertain the cause of the untimely death of this adorable beast

Sorry also to hear this. I'm no medical expert but from your description it sounds like your Flowerhorn might have had several different afflictions, the combo was just too much for it, RIP.
