i have a single silver arowana of size 8" the probelm is that it always keep hiding and gets easily scared when i am feeding it
it eats normally
tankmates Blood parrot 2"-4"
HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBELM

usually silvers are skittish

it has been for a month now

Is your tank located in a high traffic area?

it could also just be your arowana's personality. Some are just very timid and take more time to get used to your presence, while others are very outgoing.

yea personality or scared of you lol

yes

that could be it.. find a location at your house that is some what darker.. not a lot of lights and not a lot of people wil pass by it..

My silver is located next to my fire place and its on the far side of the house... also.. make sure that not a lot of light is in the area..

give it sometime.. he'll get used to it.. BTW. whats the tank size?

noisy areas or fast movement can make them scared
