My 7" Senegal's stomach has been unusually bulging for 4 days now. There are no irregular bulges, just an even "just-eaten-20-guppies-type" bulge. What could this be?

He's in a community with albino sens, Dels, an ornate, pollis, LF sen, and some syno cats. The other polys are of similar size, but have normal-looking stomachs. I feed krill, cut-up squid and silversides every other day, just enough to be consumed in 2 minutes.

Could be bloat... I hope not though.

Here's a senegalus with bloat:

What type of substrate is he on could have swallowed a gravel stone.

that's not good. They can swallow pebbles pretty easily

A pic would help.Has the bulge decreased at all?Could you isolate the fish in a seperate tank to make monitoring it easier?

My biggest Sen at 7" of so ate one of his new tankmates a 2.5" CAE. It made quite a big buldge but over the course of about 4 hours the buldge had almost dissapeared. It kinda sounds like a stone if it is not decreasing in size...

I also have a Sen who has been having a bulging stomach for about 2 weeks now. There is no irregularity in the bulge, just a big bloated abdomen. He doesn't move about as much, preferring to stay in the bottom or on a driftwood perch. If this is a stone (that cannot pass through), is my Sen doomed?
