Unusual endler/guppies born.

As the title says, I not so long ago had 2 unusual endler x guppy hybrids born from some rejects in my community tank. The parents were a mix of yellow tiger endlers and some normal fancy guppy females. Now I will say I have had an odd colored guppy pop up here and there along the way of creating my own strain, but I've never had any born with full body coloration like this. These 2 are about a month old at this point and have been moved to my breeding tank but they are jet black all the way around.

Now as for my questions I would like to ask, would this make them melanistic? And if so, would this be worth starting up an entirely new breeding project? Btw here's some pics of the lil guys. Couldn't get a pic with em both in the same shot sadly, the one kept hiding under the backside of the sponge filter.

P.s. if ya look closely at the 3rd pic, there's another normal coloured baby just under the snail on the heater to compare with.

The tank is roughly in the mid 70's and as for food it's just topfin fish flakes, nothin special lol.

It's possible but unlikely with how slowly they are growing. I've had muppies in the past and they are always born larger then a regular guppy is and grow much faster. Also the mollies that I have are all albino orangecicle x gold panda crosses. Not much for the color black on them other then the tail. I also have a lot of mutations in the mollies as well, sailfin, long-fin, lyre tail, het-albino and heterochromia. So I would imagined that one of those traits would be visible on em if they had the Molly's genes mixed in.

I'd bump the temp up to like 80 and feed twice a day in that case to speed up the process a bit

Yeah all I got is a lil 3g heater inside of a 10g tank. So can't do much there untill I can confirm if this used 15g heater is still usable or not, got it during junk days along with a free tank n filter. Granted it's an old screw on heater so not too hopeful.

I would suggest asking on fishforums.net. They tend to know a lot about community fish, and probably will have more information on
stuff like this.

But if you read it, it said 2 of the batch is black. I would agree if it was one, but the odds are steep with 2. Plus, when I looked up melanistic guppies, almost nothing came up.
