unusual growth rate?

got him around Feb. They're not commonly available so i had to order one.
He was 7" when he came in. Over 8" when i first saw him. Almost 9 when i brought him home. Hes now almost 14".
this annectens is fed almost every day.
WC 30 to 50 percent twice, sometimes thrice a week.
He's in a 15 gal but that's about to change really soon given his growth rate.

I thought that was just normal. is it?

that is more or less a normal growth rate; in the previous thread santoury was not referring to your fish, but to another member's fish which has been 4" for the past 3 months. that particular lungfish is showing unusually slowed growth and there are probably dietary/water quality issues contributing to that.

your lungfish is doing just fine and looks like a great specimen; nice job--
