I work from home and have a 75G tank nearby. It is not unusual for my Blood Parrot and Clown Loaches to hang around my side of the tank.
What was unusual yesterday was the Blood Parrot was turning sideways and the Clown Loaches were nibbling along his face. It reminded me of the sucker fish that cling to the bottom of sharks and eat the parasites. The BP seemed to enjoy it and was going back (sideways) again and again to the CLs for more. He did ram the CLs twice; once when the biggest one was over his eye and another time when all five CLs got a little carried away.
I watched them for a few minutes in amazement. I took a few pictures with the cell phone but they didn't turn out. I quickly went upstairs and got my camera.
They had settled down a bit, and I was only able to get a few shots just before and after a cleaning (see below). I have the camera next to me in case they do it again today.
You folks ever witness something like this?
