unusual RED DEVIL behaviour

MY RD IS OF SIZE 6" AND IS VERY AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS MY
OSCAR 8" PAIR
VENETUS 7" PAIR

BUT IS NOT AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS MY
SINGLE AROWANA OF SIZE 10"
3 SILVER DOLLAR 3"
2 TINFOIL BARB 3"


WHY IS THIS SO

beacause cichlids don't like other cichlids more than fish that are not cichlids ,heh did i used too much word cichlids

it has more aggression towards your oscar and venustus pair because they are cichlids

Cichlids compete with other cichlids for dominance and territory.

The RD could prove too aggressive for the Oscar and stress it to death.

Conspecifics.The RD leaves the Arow alone because it looks NOTHING like a normal-shaped fish.

Don't worry, in my experience your rd hasn't reached its full destructive potential...I love those fish, just can't keep one past 7-8 inches unless it is in a tank by itself. I hope you have better luck than I have!
