unusual tank mates?

i got a Polypterus senegalus thats kept with a male betta "red an blue mix" a pink glowlight tetra an 2 albino cory cats an ther all gettin along fine, execpt for the 3 ghost shrimp that just love ther new buddy lol.
 
I wouldn't get my hopes up on them all living happily. Expect everything to be eaten and if your lucky the spines on the cories won't kill the bircher when he tries to eat them. Sorry if that seems really negative but birchers are predators and everything you have in there is prey.
 
really? i had a oscar with somethin of that combination an they were all happy till he got ick an died before the treatments started to work. idk wat it was but it was made up of Formalin an Malachite Green. if any of u guys know anything about that.
 
i have also a 30 gallon tank with wat my parents call "normal" fish. like angels, silver dollars an stuff like that. wat would be good tankmates with a bichir. im lookin for somethin like a tinfoil barb but not that gets that big.
 
my bichir is with a bunch of cherry barbs, zebra danios, rainbow sharks, and such. Itry to keep him well fed and nothing has gone missing yet except 1 danio, but that was day 1 of them being in the same tank. I think your corys will go missing though, mine always do~

keep them apart if you can, together if its your only choice but prepare to see some things with a bite or gone.
 
i am surprised the ghost shrimp have lasted long enough for you to post this thread. i put the hugest ghost shrimp i've ever seen in with my 4'' senegal and he chomped them literally in minutes
 
yea ive had 3 ghost shrimp for bout a week now an ther all still ther when i am typin this. when i get money for my phone i will be able to upload pics for you guys an show you.
