I have 4 rays two motoro an orb and a retic. I feed most of them river shrimp night crawlers and fish from time to time. Now i have added leeches to the menu and most of them seem to like them. The orb not so much however she has always been on some other. She only wants live and will only take live fish. I have chummed the water and used live night crawler to try and induce feeding on frozen or prepared foods. but she seem to turn he ray up!!! Smh however in prep for the leeches i let her fast for three days. She did not take to them rt away even after tht. However after i cut one of the leeches up she was all over them. I have found unless the ray is large smaller leeches are best. They tend to put up more of a fight than night crawlers, and i like the leeches because they are meaty and seem to fill my rays endless appetite for a little while longer. I am hooked as long as leeches are in season i will keep them on tap.
