about a week ago my jungle vals i orderd came in and they were really melted i planted them in my all male tank. today i came home to one of them floating will this hurt it any it just started ajusting and getting green. since i had to replant it will that cause any problems?

put rocks or obstacles around the plant so the fish cant get to the roots or the gravel around the roots. african cichlids have a tendency to eat plants (but your aulanocara should leave it alone, Val isnt tasty to most fish, even herbivores) and if not eat it, they'll dig in the gravel around it. good luck!

Generally speaking, vals are ridiculously hardy (especially jungle val). Just like Fish Man Dan said: stick it back in the substrate and aquascape around it to deter digging.
