We're moving soon, already started cutting stock and tearing down tanks. I've got my favorites packed into 3 tanks as responsibly as possible.
Anyhow, any advice or tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. We're just moving across town but it just seems so daunting. Again, any input would be infinitely appreciated folks.

Well I am assuming that since it is only a move across town you plan on having your tanks up and running the same day. The only thing I would do is cut down on the feeding to cut down on fish waste.

Buy a new bigger tank and set it up at the new house 1st lol... if u have no leeway in time save as much of the old water as u can during tear down, pack everyone up in tubs and haul em over. I once moved 3.5hrs away with 50 fish, they all made it no prob. Also took a tandem of 3 trucks full of tubs/water/tanks. if u have substrate, do not put it back in the tank at the new place without washing it itell b a mess. 150-300 gal rubbermaids come in handy during moves also. u can leave ur fish in the rubbermaid with the filters while u move tanks and set up at the new house. Trying to throw everything back together to quick usually ends poorly. Take ur time, let the tanks run for even a cple hrs before u add fish again, theyll be fine in aerated containers without filtration for a good 12 hrs if need be. best scenario would be to get a tank/tub running at the new place first thats good and cycled before u move fish but ive moved full systems same day if that was my only option a cple times.
