Got this on as an early Christmas gift to myself (Dec 6, 2009).
Here's his first picture at about 4-5 inches and looking cute:
Now (June 10, 2010), it's about 12 inches and looking awesome:
I know he could have grown even larger in 7 months, but I haven't gotten the feeding regime right yet. He is still on market shrimp and an occasional feeder (and on some days FD Blood Worms). I hope to switch him to prepared food soon.
The Monsoon has just arrived in Bombay and I expect to see a lot more creepy-crawlies available easily for him to feast on. I am also considering starting an earthworm culture as I'm told Earthworm are among the best (live) Arowana food.
