thanks guys pictures do him no justice at 4 inches or so right now and booming with color already

he is in a 150 gallon with

Ruby albino oscar
Uaru
4 silver dollar
tiger shovel noose
flag tail

The shovel noose is a short term stay before he gos to an indoor pond

I hope to keep the mono in this tank for at least a few years but we shall see

I LOVE my fxf I use stock foam inserts and nylon pot scrubbers in all bio chambers.

To remove some extra particulate matter I use an internal led uv filter with a bio chamber

I do 30-35% water changes every 4 days or so and keep nitrates between 5-10 ppm

temp is 87 and i supplement with discuss essential and small amount of aquarium salt

Ph is unfortunately 7 even with driftwood due to my city's water
