Update : Blurry Umbee Vent, Please Help if possible

Hey guys lastnite i tried to get a clear shot of my umbee's vent, but with my iphone it was impossible, the umbee is about 6 - 6.5 in, after venting the fish, it never had any sign of black on the dorsal whatsoever, and then i placed a mirror in front of it again and it just went CRAZY!! also trailers are growing longer each day so is the size! also has the copper color showing up on its head

Have you tried the mirror trick? Base on the last photo...it looks male to me. I don't see any signs of the dorsal darkness. Hah...i thought mine was male cause I never saw the dark dorsal and to this day I don't see it...ended up being female when she laid eggs but for now I'd say yours is a male.
 
yea i do mirror trick everyday no black dorsal whatsoever, but im thinking it might be female, because it has something hanging down there that looks similar to my female red devil that laid eggs, but this morning when i woke up, i turned on the light and the umbee was still sleeping and it was hella BLUE!!
