doesnt the quartze dissapear over time?

Looks pretty good. Although the rocks look a little too big too me. But its fine. Can you give me specs on your set up? Light, substrate, plants etc

Thx

looks good, but i'd say less rocks, paint the back white, and arrange the gravel in a more sloping style :)

maybe remove 1 rock... i see 6. iwagumi purists insist on having odd numbers. i think once the hc really fills in, you'll get a good "mountains & forest" effect.

specs are a 10g tank i de-rimmed myself. The light is a finnex sump light. The substrate is caribsea eco complete black and a little bit of flourite left over from a previous project. The plants are HC and the big honking rocks i found in mah yard!!!!!! i'm gonna add a diy yeast reactor soon with a glass diffuser i bought on ebay.
