Update - From this to this in 5 months

Thanks for the positive feedback.

I've been feeding him various New Life Spectrum pellets and flakes, Omega One cichlid pellets, freeze-dried shrimp, freeze-dried krill and earthworms.

I'm anxious to see how he develops. I have four additional FH's from the same batch. There is a runt in the group and three colorful, but smaller fish. I'm currently keeping the largest FH by himself. He does not play well with others.

My flowerhorn is now 8 inches long and very thick. He is also sporting teeth.

What variety is he? I have a little one I just picked up that looks like a younger version of him!
