Hi all,

Wanted to provide an update. I am beginning to re-home some cichlids and rearrange my 135 (US) Gallon aquarium.

After the changes, the stock will consist of the following:

1 Festae (female)
1 Green Terror (Male)
1 Redfin Prochilodus
1 Climbing Perch Fish
1 Clown Loach
3 Electric Yellow Cichlids

With this as the listed stock, is this 135 Gallon tank at max capacity? I was hoping to add perhaps an additional Cichlid that would be compatible, or some kind of unique fish that could get along (aside from Bichirs). A small school of some kind would also be ideal. (Either one of those three options).

Does anyone have any suggestions/advice?

I would guess that the festae is gonna thin Your stock a bit. My *alpha *female rules the tank (a bunch of male Festae grow outs, I put the other females in separate tanks after she killed a Female that dared to color up in HER tank) I would get rid of the E/Yellows and get a couple more clowns as they thrive in packs ( I have 7 and they are not picked on) and hope the the g/t and festae get along .Dont know anything about the other two fish....But I think *full grown Festae and G/T will want that whole tank. What size are the terrors?*

My GT is about 7-8" and I would say my Festae is just under 7". Honestly, I have had absolutely no problems thus far with the Festae other than when she laid eggs (6-8 months ago). Once I removed her nest she has been very tolerant of all the other tank mates. Occasionally she will nip the GT, but only if I am up close to the glass and he chases me around the aquarium.

I think the Clown Loaches could be a solid idea! I will definitely need to consider re-homing a few more fish to allow growing room.

Aside from Clown Loaches, does anyone think a Geo would be a solid addition? How about a Pike Cichlid?
