Just an update on these guys as well. Picked them up from Rare Fish a few months ago @ 1" and here they are a few months later at 4"!! Sorry for the dirty tank in the 2nd pic.

What temp are these guys kept at? I wonder if its possible to raise these in a pond and breed?!

doit... evil plans!!! surely japan is colder than states so probs on to a winner, thats is why they are illegal in uk as they pose a risk of surviving our winter i guess....

They range from 24*N - 45*N per fishbase. Im at 34*N hmmm...if only I was rich! Could be fun to fish for them too!
