For those of you who have wondered what happened to me because i havent been posting a lot lately... I have moved and dont have internet yet. this has not slowed down my hobby though. In fact i am making some radical changes and have some new fish.
First things first, i am parting ways with my 4 beloved emperor snakeheads and my silver arowana (sizes in signature). And in their place I am welcoming a redtail golden arowana of only about 7-8 inches. I am getting a great deal on him though through my work.
Further more, I had the ability to buy a fly river turtle a while back and didnt jump on it and now I am kicking myself so hard, I NEED to get one! if anybody knows where or how or anything... I am willing to give an arm and a leg for one... figuratively speaking. Me and a fellow MFKer have been discussing placing an order for AULs and i seriously hope it works out.
furthermore I also recently got some smaller stuff, including 3 indo dats... yea i finally joined the bandwagon. I also got a small polypterus weeksi... this means the only rare species I need to get them all are ansorgii and bichir bichir... mokelembembe and retropinnis are easy finds so ill focus on the bigguns right now. I also picked up a small pseudodoras Niger and 4 pink-tailed characins... not sure what u actually call them.
today at work i decided to take some "messed up fish" i have found that 1/200 or so bala sharks are leucistic (golden) and seeing as those are not ok for sales i have been setting them apart. Today i found another 2 and ended up with a group of 5. I decided to take them home and see what it would look like grown up... could be a cool... a gold bala shark.
aaaanyway so theres gonna be some moving around sunday which will result in my RTG and 5 hampala barbs moving to my big tank making space for my smaller fish to upgrade to a bigger tank. O yea my girrafe cat will join the big tank too...
