UPDATE!!!MBUNAMALAWI TANK

Hey all, havnt posted anything in a while about my african tank. Here is a recent update. And info as fallows:
Tank- 55 Gallon Mbuna Malawi African Cichlids (Mostly Male)
Filer- Aqua Tech 30-60, (until I can afford a penguin lol)
Heater- Stealth 150 watt
Substrate- 30 Grit All Purpse Sant
Decor- few lavas rocks, rocks from outside, (bleached, scrubbed). Clay pots.And just ordered me some texas holey rock from ebay. Will be commin soon.
Plants- all Artificial, cause africans are mean towards real plants, lol.
Lighting- Basic walmart dual fixture, hanging with L Brackets, with a pure acnitic light bulb, and a super white bulb.
fish Include:
1- Albino Zebra
1- Orange Zebra
1- Yellow Lab
1- Kenyi
2- Auratrus
2- Powder Blues
3- OB Zebras
1 Pleco

No, just havnt been able to afford a top yet, lol, planning on getting at least a glass top. A Canopy in the future.

go to your local hard ware store and get plexi glass to measure your top leaving room for what you need and everything else is lookin great
