It's hard to get action shots of him because he knows what the camera is lol

first time ever seeing this type of fish. can you give me some info on it? looks really cool. reminds me of a polypterus ornatipinnis. well... the color anyway.

Yeah they are awesome fish, they're Australia's largest freshwater fish growing to 6ft long and more- which is why his future home is my 1200gal pond.
They can't be kept with anything when they get older because they are very aggressive and will kill fish much larger then them.... I found out the hard way

They can live in any temperature from 10c to 30c and are very hardy.

All'round they are a great fish to own
