Here are some new pics of my two knives. They are looking as good as they've look in a while since I've added the SR. Now the aros keep their aggression amongst themselves and have been leaving the knives alone, so no broken fins.

In Chinese, knifefish are called "fey dow yu" which means "flying knife fish". From some of the pics you will see why.. ;)

Enjoy! :D

SWEET!!!!!!

it still amazes me how you have such a variety of fish and they all live in harmony. Thats the amazing part

huge aeros, bass, and knifes and i think that i see some electric catfish? its awesome, i wish i could put something like that together with my 180 but i dotn like bare bottome tanks and i think i would feel bad for the overcrowding of the fish.

awesome tank man, keep it up! what are you planning of adding next?

Those are gorgeous fish.. i just got mine a couple of weeks ago and i am amazed at their elegant beautiful stalking of their prey, they are constantly swimming and pacing and scouting .. they are not afraid of sudden movements or the light on or off .. they are truly monsters and yet so defined and soft.. i am so glad i have been introduced into the knife world.. they are keepers.

I think this tank is at it's max ... even by my reckoning.

Right now I'm busy focusing on powering up my filtration system so that it will be able to handle the increases in bioload when my current fish grow bigger.

Next ... well ... I guess another tank! :D

I agree 100% with you bro!

Anyone who comes to see the tank always asks about the knives. They've all seen the others before, but knives are totally unique and totally cool! :headbang2
