Hello everyone,
I have been away from this site, but I thought I would just pop on and give everyone an update of my tanks. I have been upgrading!
No monster tank yet

Dang. Your the first to say, but good to know.
Do I have too many plants? (aka just not enough space for them to swim) or do you think they came like that. Ammonia and nitrite are 0ppm and nitrates reach a max of 20ppm.
There is 5 discus in the 70 gallon tank.
I am still new to discus so any advice would be great

The oldest is the big orange one. They were all around 2 inches when I got them. The orange one has been here for probably 7 months. The rest about 4-5 months

They are fed New Life Spectrum Flakes and pellets and frozen bloodworms (couple times a month)
Sometimes Omega one Pellets and Flakes.

Water Change weekly. Water tested most of the time before a water change and after.
20ppm of nitrates before and around 5-10ppm after.

How often did you feed them? Me personally i would have change the water at least 50% every 3 days. Juvies need lots of food and lots of clean water to grow………

One possibility is I used to keep them in a 55 gallon with angels.
A lot of fish and not a lot of space. Thats when they were younger and when I lost some since I was just starting up with discus. That could be it.
When this video was taken they has been in this tank for less than a month or so. Bigger tank and less fish and more filtration.
This video is over a month old now. So in that video, minus about a month off their ages too.
