sure have! I hate that bubble coral though. its not mine it just wasnt doing well in my friends tank so i took it to revive it. I should be gettin a big ass chunk of chalice in a couple days...
your clams look so good, great pattern on the striped. lots of coralline algae, very good to see.
yea all in all im happy with the way its going. I just wish it was more mature cuz i still havent gotten passed the diatom plumes... they drive me nuts. and thanks on the clam comment, im actually not such a fan of the maxima clam... thinkin bout sellin it on n getting a different pattern cuz that one only shows its blueness properly when u look from above... the derasa clam is awesome though
If you dont mind me asking whats ur lighting system? I have had my 75 running for about 3 wks now.I have a Catalina light fixture, 3 buld 54watts each. Would that be enough for corals and such? Ur tank looks great, gives me inspiration!!
3 bulbs of 54 watts is not going to be enough. You could do some softies like mushrooms and things like that. I have a Nova extreme pro. its 6 T5s 54w each with single reflectors. 3 are actinics n 3 r 10,000k I am going to replace one of the 10,000ks with a 20,000k though. Its not an expensive light fixture. I bought it on petstore.com for just under 400 dollars.
