He has been with me for 5 yrs and is currently about 17". I hope to give him the best life a dat can have.

Nice one. Looks a decent size. I love symetrical oddballs ..they are hardly ever seen bigger than 12 inch.
Or you dont see many.

He looks much smaller than 17" to me, I think it's because he doesn't have the spoon head making him look much deeper bodied

this guy has a longer body than most dats I have seen. Most dat this size usually have a taller body.
 
This is not the same dat that is in your av is it?
