update of my monster gibbiceps

a few weeks ago, caught my gibbiceps from the africans pond, for measuring him, last time when i measured him he was 9" almost an year and half ago

now he is just shy of 17"

yeah they kinda grow fast, as they eat a lot too, you should see it eat cucumbers

Wow. Nice length on that plec but I don't think it's a gibby. One of the commons more likely. The pattern is not consistent with gibby and I would have expected a bit more dorsal as well.
I had an eyeless adonis that refuses to grow. He's stuck at right around 12". I'd like a megaplec someday though.

Hi, that is a lovely monster. I hope you don't mind me saying but are you sure he is a Gibby? He looks more like P. Pardalis to me. Ah, just see someone posted before me! Here is a Gibby below.
