Damien my red devil is about 6-7" and currently happily living in a 30 gallon 36 x 12 x 16. He will be moving to a 55 gallon as soon as a good deal comes up on craigslist which shouldn't take long. He will then either be put into a 125 to try and breed, or sold. I have another 11 growouts including red devils and true citrinellus. He spends most of his day watching the growouts in the tank next to him. He isn't a glass banger but he does bite as soon as you try and put your hand in the tank. Check out the video of him trying to break an algae wafer in half, it's really smart what he does. Turn the volume up.
