Update of my reef and sump

It is going well. Most growth is in the birdsnest and obviously the xenia. I added a fourth fungia and rearranged. Here is a better view of the sump. You can see the mounted ATO, power strips, and a better view of the skimmer.

black sand you will almost never find a bare bottom saltwater tank

Yes, Estes' Marine Sand Ultra Reef. I use it in all my tanks (it is not a true marine sand). I love the black look, I can't stand all white sand reef tanks anymore.

I only use caribsea's reefgrade...but that is just me. Had problems with non-marine sand...but your right it looks good in your tank, so whatever works.

I like your fungia...I will say that again. What are the specs on your lighting?
