got these 2years ago when they were around 2"

these bass went through a lot...

now they're in 450g

grown slow 12"-13" the pair now, but were only fed once every 3 days

hard get the colours on camera but you get the idea

yeah they are special fish i cant wait until mine hit that size i measure my biggest orino yesterday and he was 9" im with you on the slow growth though its just a waiting game just keep tossing that hikari in for them. What are the dimentions on the 450 then? plywood built is it?

8 x 3w x 2.5h ft all glass
 
yeah deffo do that, did it cost much to have the 8x3x2.5 bet it looks stunning doesnt it, plenty of space for those big dats you have, where did you find them for sale on AC
 
got the tank from ND as they are closer to me. but if i lived up north i wouldve got it from AC as delivery would be cheaper.

filtration costs quite a bit if you want crystal clear water, everything adds up
 
what do you run on yours then canister if your after clear water? most large tanks go for sump dont they i have sumps on mine but my bass has 2 canister aswel
