Update on 300g filtration.

I got the overhead sump running last night. It's 8 ft long and full of the clay hydroponic media. I'm using 1/2" pvc for water flow with a 1" for emergency overflow. It's flowing 80 gph with a little submersible pump. This is not my main source of filtration. It's more for the plants and possibly pepper plants. I'm running an Ultima II 1000 with a Reeflo Sword tail.

looks like my old pothos set up but I used black rectangle planter boxes. yours looks much better!
I really didn't like the pump in my tank so I pulled it all out and moved my cuttings into the h.o.b. I'm planning on something similar with my axolotl tank but no pump just the planter submerged a few inches.
