Well it seems like I'm going to take on the other two juveniles that Pete has, we are building a fish house (got tanks coming in and insulation being put in) and he has not had enough time to feed them 2-3 times a day and as mine are getting fed a lot I will be bringing them home on friday
. Thought I would post updates of them all this friday with pictures.
I have only been doing very small waterchanges since I have got them because of the chemicals in the tap water I wasn't sure how they would react to a big waterchange. I have just vaccumed up any debris on the gravel and so far its been ok. I was expecting to see a lot of flashing but nothing. They have been just fine.
I have been hand feeding them with prawns
this has meant no messy eating and there aren't food left uneaten on the floor of my tank!
So far my two micropeltes have been schooling together and I've noticed that they like to play in the water flow of my eheim!
Will be interesting to see how they react with the other two when they arrive. I think mine have already put on weight and grown an inch or two since I only bought them home last week, thats a big improvement haha.
Anyway pics of all four juveniles together
