Somewhere lost
Kay I haven't posted on her monitor in a while but got some updated pics. She is doing better and is in with my monitor. They have a little issue at feeding time other then that they get along fine. No attacking goes on they just steal food from each other. She is acting more like a real monitor and doesn't look so sad anymore. Sorry for the bad pictures but she is looking better. She still has issues with shedding she does soak in the water dish which is why it is dirty these were taken before I cleaned their water. Sorry for the bad pictures.

Ah yes, the poor guy who get abused by your sister was it? Nicely done getting it fattened and healthy.

Yes it was. She is finally moving out hopefully this week. She ended up getting a Columbian rainbow boa after I saw one and said I wanted it. Dumb idea. She said I will need to take care of it when she moves out because she can't take it so I will be taking it from her also when she is gone. She has had it 2 weeks and has fed it once never sprays the cage handles it or changes its water. Again neglecting it. Don't see how she can pay $90 on a snake and forget about it. But needless to say I am now up to 2 monitors and 6 snakes. I posted a thing on care of the rainbow I know the cage size but how much humidity does it need exactly?

Hypocritical moron. You might as well try to repair the damage before it begins.

No offense but your sis is a totally imcompetent idiot and should not own animals :(

Good job fattening him/her up. I am absolutely in love with Savannah Monitors, great rescue.

Bottomfeeder no offense taken I don't like my sister all that much. And snakefin I would have stoped the monitor from getting like it was if I knew it was like that before she moved in with me. The boa will not get like the monitor I have been taking care of it since she got it already she just doesn't know. Once she comes back to get her reps I will have them in my room with the door locked and if she takes the boa I can charge her because on the petco sheet it's not her name signed it is mine with my info because I had bought a tree frog that I planned on getting a while ago. So she has no proof that she bought it because I know she doesn't have the receipt. The boa is in a I would say 20-29gl terrarium how long will this last? He is about 12"-18" I haven't really gotten it out yet other then when he was curled up.

Behave, guys, please. No bashing and no name calling.

Oops, sorry Miguel. Actually its not a matter of who owns the boa, just make sure you do the necessary work to help maintain the health of the boa until your sister goes off.

Sorry Miguel and I do the best I can my only issue is I have almost no info on this species. I can't figure out how high the humidity should be. I keep fresh water and make sure it's fed. I mist the cage 2 times a day. But anyone know the humidity needed for a columbian rainbow boa>
