Posted a thread a while back, when I was asked if I could home a 40cm Black Arowana and a 54cm PO Endlicheri.
When I collected the Aro, it was in a pretty bad way. It's fins were shredded to bits and looked awful. It had also completely lost 1 of it's barbels, and the other was shrunk and almost non existant. It also had a lot of scarring across its head and body.
Anyway after a almost 2 months, he looks much nicer. He has grown one barbel completely back and the one that was gone is now growing all be it slowly.
It has a healthy appetite, and fins are looking waaay better.
He is enjoying good water in a 240gal tank with Polypterus as tankmates.
He did have a young silver as a tankmate, but sadly it found a way through the cover and ended up on my floor. (mainly my fault, i forgot to add the weights to the lid after feeding one evening...
)
Just thought I would share some pics:
