Wow this section has been slow.
Here are some pics from when I was doing maintenance and vacuuming. Unfortunately they were darting around so fast I couldn't get a clear picture.
I took their big piece of driftwood out and they didn't have a place to hide. It appears I still have all 9 black bullhead catfish.
Here is one of the runts. I'm surprised my goldfish didn't eat it.
Then indoors in my temporary tank,
The baby pleco I caught a week or so ago is now around an inch long and my poor common pleco is having to deal with being in a tiny 10 gallon until I get the tanks moved. I lost the bigger wild pleco from a sudden cold front that brought the outdoor tank from 73 ish to 50 in a matter of hours. Luckily the commons are tough as nails and has pulled through without the slightest disturbance in its appetite. It hasn't gotten cranky yet so I think it'll be fine in there until the move, which can't come soon enough. I hate tiny aquariums. Then the smallest it'll be going into is my 20 gallon long and I put the 10g back to being a sandy, planted snail/invert tank.
In other news, does anyone know where I can get a bunch of assassin snails really cheap? The one I have is really cool to watch so I'm thinking about getting a bunch more.
