Out of the 8 I started with I've culled one who had a deformed spine, lost one to fighting, then about a month ago these two started looking like male and female (and getting along) so I seperated them out from the rest and put them in my 210g with all the clowns and a couple of other random cichlids just to get them away from the other festae to see how they got along, and to hopefully give them a growth spurt going from an 80g to a 210g.
I wanted to see if another pair would form with the dominant one removed, and I bought hone an extra female from the LFS of a similar size, but it looks like the 5 I have left are all girls as noone has taken over the role of dominant male.
