Well had some progress and a set back with my pair. I had pulled the divider out on Monday evening. To my surprise there was only about ten minutes of sparring, with about three of that being lip locking. After this they started swimming side by side and kind of nestling together. Tuesday morning they had cleared off a pretty good sized spot in the sand, completley ignoring the clay plate I had placed in there. I had 24 hour duty starting Wed. morning until this morning. My wife called me last night at 8 and said the pair had laid eggs in a spot they cleared off. She said the whole area was covered with them. I got home this morning to find some eggs remaining, however I believe they ate a good portion of them. This is their first spawn so I knew this was a possibility. My only regret was that I was not there to document and take care of the spawn. Sorry about the wordy post. Heres a pic.
