What have have you changed besides the gravel between the two pics. Water temp, food, water conditions and even tank mates can make him change in color. He's a good looking fish, put some work into him bro........

Thanks for the update pics brother and try put sum background into your tank brother maybe that will helps plus a special flowerhorn food. Well that doesn't means the background and the special flowerhorn food will work instant like magic stuff but depends to your fish genes too brother so good luck and GBU always
