Here they are. I had a lot of trouble catching pictures of these guys, due to there activity (Which I love). These are some blurry pictures of three of the six.

I've had them for a couple of weeks or something like that. I feed them Southern Delight (Cichlid).

Oh great, lol. I'm pretty new to Flowerhorns, how do you sex them?

Well you can sex them like any other cichlid, venting. Since your fh's are ZZ's, whenever a fish sports a dorsal spot, 90% of the time its a female.

Okay, I don't know how to vent really... I feel so nooby... But I will look at them and see if they have those spots on the dorsal fish. Thanks. So on a scale of 1-10 how good are they?

I looked at all of them, only two don't have the dorsal spot.... They are a little smaller and less colorful than the others. Does this mean they are males or could they still be females?

LOL its simple, but it helps to have a male and a female so you can tell the difference. Just flip them over and look at the sexual opening. Males will have a V shape will females will have more of a U shape.

Don't get offended, but from a scale of 1-10, 1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest, I'd give them a 2. Although, if you take pics without the yellow hue over them, I'd probably be able to see them better.

No offence taken. I got cheap ones ($5) so I could gain some experience before I got some really nice ones.

Yeah my lighting is pretty crappy, it's just a work shop light. I'll take some during the day when there are a lot of sunny rays of light flooding my room.

I'll work on the venting I'm kind of like 0.o Could I practice on my convicts? I have a nice and tame pair.

Ah yes and what does ZZ stand for, or is it just ZZ?

Yes, you could practice on your convicts. Try not to let them be out of the water for more than 3 secs when you're examining them.
