Update on my flowerhorns!!!!

He looks great! Try giving him some rocks to move and some sort of territory to hide and defend. This will really pump him up. You can add a small flowerpot to use as a cave and some fake plastic plants to divine a territory. If you improve their environment, you will be surprised how quickly he will pump up to max potential.

The lighting makes it a bit more difficult to tell but it does not look like a typical red dragon to me. The picture makes it look like it has a fan tail instead of a more rounded ZZ type tail. There could be some Kamfa in him but he's showing more of a ZZ phenotype. He does not appear to have sunken eyes but he does have a pretty good mouth, not too strong of an underbite.
Most Flowerhorns nowadays are crossed with so many other different strains that it's safer to just call it a flowerhorn. Your fish could be something like a red dragon crossed with a Thai Kamalau type fish. The Thai GM could be what's giving it the pearling but I'm only guessing here. What matters is that they're both beautiful fish!
